School Youth Worker

Youth Worker Profile:

My name is Jenna Price, I am the school support youth worker employed by Carmarthenshire Youth Support Service at Dyffryn Taf.

In my role, I support young people aged 10–18 years of age, to help them build resilience and develop the skills they need to live, learn, and achieve.

I offer support on a 1:1 basis; group work, workshops, drop-ins, transitional visits and more. These sessions are tailored around the young people and their needs.

The work we offer is based around behaviour, relationships, peer pressure, health and education, life skills, mindfulness, and others.

Within my role, I also work in partnerships with the school senior leadership, school pastoral team, behaviour, and well-being officer, as well as the school nurse, counsellor, Team Around the Family and careers advisor.  I also work alongside colleagues in the wider Youth Support Service, such as Post 16, Universal and Youth Justice Team.
